RC Sculpt Update

Here is an update on the RC helmet sculpt. I added some detail to the brow of the helmet above the visor, worked on the ears a little and added some detail to the back as well.

After I get most of the main features sculpted in, I will eventually smooth the surfaces and sharpen the lines and corners. Then I will add the finer details into the sculpt.

My latest project

Ever since I started making custom 12" clone figures, I have been asked numerous times if I can make a 12" Republic Commando figure. So, I am happy to say that I am in progress of making sculpts for a 12" Republic Commando figure. A couple of months ago, I sculpted an RC helmet out of clay on an AOTC clone helmet base (fin filed off) but it didn't work out. So, I started to sculpt a new 1/6 scale RC helmet from a solid piece of clay. I used scaled down pics of an RC in 1/6 scale and cut them out so I can used them as templates to get the proper shape and sizing for the clay model. I also used a 3.75" RC figure to refer to its dimensions.

My 12" Custom Clones

By profession, I worked in the IT field, but after my second child was born, I became a full time dad. Since I am a die-hard Star Wars fan and I have all this free time now, I became interested in making custom 12" clone figures.
